Cost is $57

Enrollment is limited to a maximum of 8 students
Kathleen Kuchar, Professor Emeritus - Fort Hays
State University, will be teaching a painting/collage
workshop that will result in artwork containing imagery
of your favorite four-legged friend (or bird or fish!).
If you don’t have a pet or don’t wish to work with
animal imagery, you can make a collage of an “old dog”
(one of your ‘unresolved’ paintings).
Necessary supplies include
acrylic paints & brushes (bring what you have, otherwise
Kathleen will share some of hers), canvas or canvas
board – 5x7, 8x10, 9x12, or 11x14 are recommended
(Kathleen will have a variety of sizes you can purchase
from her that day). You’ll also want to bring black &
white or color photocopies of your pet for the collage
as well as some actual photographs to be used for
reference. And, you can bring one of your “old dog”
paintings to the workshop if you want to use it for your
collage painting. And – wear your grubbies!
