Arts Advocacy |
 |
The
mission of the Kansas
Arts
Commission is to provide opportunities for the
people of Kansas to
experience, celebrate and value the
arts throughout their
lives. We serve artists, nonprofit organizations,
schools and government agencies through grants to
support the arts in
communities. We also provide seminars, workshops and
one-on-one consulting in business development,
grantwriting, strategic planning, marketing and other
areas of nonprofit arts

A growing body of
research points to the
important role of the
arts
in improving students’ achievement and preparing
them for an economy that demands creative solutions to
challenging problems. This website provides the details
on this topic. |

The National
Endowment for
the
Arts is a public agency dedicated to supporting
excellence in the
arts, both new and
established; bringing the
arts to all Americans; and
providing leadership in arts
education. Established by Congress in 1965 as an
independent agency of the
federal government, the
Endowment is
the nation's largest annual
funder of the
arts, bringing great art to
all 50 states, including rural areas, inner cities, and
military bases. |
