There's No Place
Like Home

The 2014 National Conference Exhibition of The Society of Layerists in Multi-Media (SLMM)

SLMM is a network for artists who express a holistic perspective in any style or medium. Layering is not a label for a specific technique. Rather, it is a way to think about creating art as a synthesis of ideas from diverse sources and inspirations in their lives.

This year’s national conference exhibition celebrates the perception of “home” and speaks to the concepts of comfort and centeredness.  The artistic responses feature images of hearth & studio, earth & sky, and fantasy & reality.  Real or imagined, there’s no place like home.
