It's Our 40th Birthday
Year!
In
October 2007, the Hays Arts Council, the state's oldest
arts organization celebrated its 40th Year!!!
From it's humble
beginnings to receipt of the Governor's Arts Award, the
state's highest honor for arts excellence, the Hays Arts
Council continues to be a motivating force.
"Fostering and
encouraging the arts has made this community a better
place to live and continues to play an important role in
the future growth and development of Hays and Ellis
County. After almost 40years, we continue to accept
with pride this inherent responsibility to provide “the
arts for all."
